Mission and Service
We aim to achieve a more inclusive fellowship where people of many different backgrounds, cultures and languages seek to live out the gospel of love and reconciliation by serving the local community, especially those living on the margins of society. It is encouraging to note that our current fellowship includes diverse communities from Africa, Asia and the Caribbean as you can see from these maps – each dot represents a congregation member (click the images to zoom in):

A large part of our mission and outreach is to care for the needs of asylum seekers and refugees.
PAFRAS (Positive Action for Asylum Seekers and Refugees) has a drop-in at:
St Aidans Church Community Hall,
Elford Place West,
Leeds LS8 5QD,
Thursday mornings 10.00am - 1.00pm where they provide a hot meal and casework support for destitute asylum seekers.
